You've never heard of a Packard truck?  You've never seen a Packard truck?

This morning Anthony arranged a water taxi from our hotel into town to the shops and particularly the Salamanca Markets which are held every Saturday.

Recently seven NZ South Pacific Packard members headed to Tasmania for the inaugural Trans Tasman Packard rally which involved a 13 day rally around the island.

All eyes were on our cars as they were parked, and we enjoyed a coffee break before heading south.

Friday morning saw the guys under the bonnets, tweeking, cleaning, and making minor adjustments, so it was off to the Antique Fair for the girls!

Two of our members cars were displayed at the Autovia 2010 Classic Car Show & Inter-Marque Concours D'Elegance in Christchurch, at which, about 35 cars of all eras attended.  Each bay was decorated, so it was a really good show.

Wild West Wander WOW.A truly wonderful Rally in every respect. From the spectacular scenery as we made our way down the West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand; to the very fine line up of participating vehicles (21 Packards and 6 non-Packards); the sumptuous food; our jovial, friendly rallyists, and our fantastic mechanics Roy McDonald and Matt Dunstan

We had never visited New Zealand before and were really looking forward to your Rally and it certainly lived up to any expectation  we had.  We had a great time and really appreciated the beauty of your country as we travelled from the very top of the North Island Cape Reinga to the Dunedin in the South and most points in between.

Club members claimed 3 top prizes again at the 2010 Dunedin Auto Spectacular.

Cars at Foxton Beach...All gathered at Southwards Museum to look through the workshop and museum. It is a wonderful testament to Len Southwards passion and vision, with an awesome collection of vehicles.
